Looks Like You Made It!

Senior Class…You finally made it!! Can you feel the skip in your step as you walk down the halls and a little nostalgia starting to settle in?

Well, sorry to burst your bubble but the first semester of senior year is no walk in the park.

Remember how your junior year was all about AP classes and SATs/ACTs and prepping for your next phase;….college? Well, I hate to break it to you but so is your first semester of senior year. It’s when you need to take the time to make yourself a calendar of deadlines; those being college applications, SAT/ACT test dates (for retakes), AP exams, graduation gown orders, senior pictures, etc. And we’ve all heard of that dreadful disease called; …senior-itis. You know, that dreadful virus that turns seniors into last minute procrastinators.

Second semester senior year can be downright amazing. It’s the light at the end of the tunnel, the last stop of a long train ride. Believe it or not, once the stress of college applications and waiting for acceptances you can actually get to pick a college. Once that’s over you actually get to choose which one you want to go to. So, in light of all you’ve accomplished please, enjoy this time with your friends and take part in your school’s senior year rituals. Your senior year is one you will never forget and will leave you with memories you will cherish for a lifetime.
